Oleg W, KolokoloY The Solution Of Ecological Problems on the basis Of Undeground Gasification of Coal and on the Account Of Deposits Geodynamics During the last decade there exists a growing interest to the undeground coal gasification in coal countries of the world. Practical realization of the problem found it's place in our country in pre-war years. Two stations of undeground coal gasification (Angrenskaya and South-Abinskaya) are in operation in our country for about 30 years. There appeared a new theme for the scientific research at the chair of Deposits Mining in Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute - that connected with Ihe production of artificial energy carriers on the basis of undeground coal gasification. This scientific orientation is being developed on the joint of fundamental sciences such as (ecology, chemistry and physics) and applied sciences (mining, heat-and-power engineering, municipal service and agricultural production). The theoretical aspects of technological processes have been created at the chair, which take place in the process of geotechnological coal mining by methods of undeground gasification and hydrogenation. We've chosen the analytical solution of the tasks connected with physico-chemical hydrogen transformations under the influence of high temperatures, oxygen and water vapour under the conditions of undeground gas generator. The questions of filtration and viscous liąuid movement in the coal seams and in pipelines were considered by the chair as well as those concerning oil deposits mining. The establishment of a new ecologically pure mining and chemical energy-producing enterprise was the result of the scientific research in this direction. The enterprise produces artificial gas - energy carrier; synthesis gas, which is necessary for the production of motor fuels (gasoline, methanol); natural gas substi- tute (methanol); hydrogen (the fuel of the futurę) and chemical products (resins, phenols, polymers, fertilizers, fodder proteins and others), and also thermoenergy for the creation of ramifide net of hot beds for rasing vegetables and thermosupply of villages. It make possible to create the new branch - thermo-chemical energetics on Ihe basis of progressive mixed and ecologicaly safe nonwaste technology. 234 Tom I
