ABSTRACT: In the following paper results of research realized in the corridor of the coal seam no 401 in the “Budryk” coal mine are presented. The aim of research was to measure the characteristic of a pull-out test and establish the maximum pull-out force. Investigated rock bolts at different lengths were installed in the upper roof section. Additionally the method for identification of discontinuity of grouted rock bolts was utilized. The results of both approach- es are compared and discussed.
