Directions of development of underground transport systems with electric drive by Becker-Warkop company - electromobility in mining practice The paper presents the development of underground transport systems with electric drive by Becker-Warkop company. The first solution was the electric floor mounted gear railway KSZ- 650/900/30/60 implemented in 1998, and the latest one - the monorail electric locomotive KPE used for the first time in 2019. Technical parameters of individual means of transport were giv- en. The battery - powered locomotives were characterized to a greater extent. The paper em- phasizes the advantages of the electric drives contributing to the improvement of safety and efficiency of work and to the reduction of negative impact on the environment. Development trends and possibilities of improving the efficiency of the electric drives are indicated.
