- effective solution of social issues, preservation of existing and creation of new additional jobs; - the possibility of using coal in the future as a raw material for the latest technologies, including renewable energy sources. The proposed directions are an effective mechanism for the promotion of the most advanced technologies in the field of decentralization of large-scale energy with the aim of innovative renewal of the coal industry, and the direction of repurposing coal mines into small-scale thermal energy complexes using natural local energy sources will contribute to the creation of an independent, stable energy infrastructure for the development of coal regions and solving life support problems and social development of coal regions.
