ENHANCED SAFETY • The PMC-R 2.0 is rated to a SIL2 level which will achieved on the local lock-out and emergency stop circuits. • This SIL 2 rating will not impact productivity as it still allows sensors to be disabled, should they become faulty. This extra safety feature is not going to cause any additional impacts to production above and beyond that of the current PMC-R system but does provide a safer working environment for the longwall operators.
