Comparison of the minimal relative amplitudes (A/A DPPH ) min of EPR spectra of DPPH free radicals interacting with infusions obtained from nonirradiated and UVA irradiated teasel ( D. fullonum ) herb and root , and the mixture of teasel ( D. fullonum ) herb, echinacea ( E. purpurea ) herb, and elderberry ( S. nigra ) fruit. The infusions of teasel root the strongest quench free radicals. The infusions of the mixture the weakest quench free radicals. UVA irradiation decreases interactions with free radicals for infusions of teasel root. UVA irradiation increases interactions with free radicals for infusions of teasel herb. UVA irradiation does not change interactions with free radicals for infusions of the tested mixture.
