Areas and directions of adaptation When discussing resilience and adaptation, the main climate stressors are often indicated and actions in response to the pressure are listed. However, this is a reductionist approach, which easily leads to proposals for actions that are contradictory and lack coordination. Catalogs of "good practices" for minimizing losses and taking advantage of opportunities built thematically are valuable, but it is more appropriate to consider the adaptation and susceptibility of individual subsystems and functions to changes considered as a whole.
