This presentation deals with the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and is briefly described here Faculty of Mining and Geology. In the first part of the presentation is characterized University history. Then I mention the location of the school and then enumerate the various faculties of the University. In the next phase I describe research center school, University services and student life and also celebrities who graduated from our University. The last section contains information on the Faculty of Mining and Geology, study branches and study - form.
